The homebuyer tax credit has come and gone for most, however there are still a few months remaining for members of the military and certain other Federal employees that have recently served overseas.

  • Eligible taxpayers must enter into a binding contract to buy a home no later than April 30, 2011.  The purchase close date must be no later than June 30, 2011.Littleton Homes for Sale
  •  Members of the uniformed services, members of the Foreign Service and employees of the intelligence community are eligible for the homebuyer tax credit extension.
  •  To qualify, these members had to have served outside of the United States on official extended duty for at least 90 days beginning January 1, 2009 and ending before May 1, 2010.

Rates are still at historical lows and VA loans are almost always the best option for qualified service members.

If you are thinking about buying a home in the Denver area, feel free to contact me.  I’d be happy to help you in any way I can!
