We're Springing Forward!

REI Clock Only three more days and we'll be enjoying the Colorado sun hours longer in the evening! If you've ever had to hold a flashlight in your mouth while trying to open a lock box, you really appreciate the extra hours of daylight at night.

I frequently have clients that like to meet me after work and look at a house or two. At times, it’s allowed them to be the first to see a new home on the market…giving them first crack at writing an offer without the competition of all the weekend lookers. Any leg up is a good thing!

The Denver area continues to buck national trends and if it’s a good house in a desirable area…it will go quickly. I showed 18 houses last weekend and I received e-mails from two of the agents notifying me of offers coming in. There were two other homes I wanted to show, but they were under contract. All the homes had been on the market less than a week! I’m sure the tax credit ending in April has something to do with our busy March.

Enjoy this gorgeous Colorado day…gotta love it!
